In recent days, an ambitious partnership has been made official between Foward Racing, which has been racing in MotoGP since 2012 and became Open World Champion in 2014, and MV Agusta.

The Swiss team will make the experience gained in the top championship available to the historic Italian manufacturer to continue the winning path in Supersport, grow in WorldSuperbike, with the final goal of arriving together in the premier class of motorcycling, in which the Italian brand has built his legend by winning 75 world titles (38 drivers and 37 constructors).

Therefore, from next season Giovanni Cuzari, currently chairman of Forward Racing, will assume the role of Team Principal of both teams, WorldSBK and WSS.

Furthermore, in the coming weeks, the project will have Marco Melandri as its exceptional tester, who will support the team in the development of the F4 RC in the 2016 configuration.

“I am really pleased to be able to announce the details of the agreement reached with MV Agusta: for some time we have been trying to combine our name with that of a historic factory and we succeeded” – he said Giovanni Cuzari, Team Owner – “Working with one of the legendary brands of Italian motorcycling is a great honor and privilege for me. MV Agusta represents the best there can be in the Made in Italy motorcycle market and this collaboration will certainly be a great growth opportunity for everyone to reach the top of WSBK first, up to MotoGP. I am also proud to seal this agreement together with Giovanni Castiglioni, a long-time friend like his father Claudio was before him. Giovanni, who together with his family has raised the name of this historic company in Varese, has placed his trust in me and in the experience of our group and I am convinced that I can contribute to achieving the objectives we have set ourselves".
