The Superbike Commission met last March 21st in Buriram, Thailand where the teams were involved in the second round of the season, in the presence of Javier Alonso (WSBK Executive Director), Takanao Tsubouchi (MSMA Representative), Gregorio Lavilla (WSBK Sporting Director ), Scott Smart (FIM WSBK Technical Director) and Paul Duparc (FIM CCR Coordinator).

The 2015 regulations of the Superbike World Championship, the Supersport World Championship and the FIM Superstock 1000 Cup have been amended as follows:

SPORTS REGULATIONS

Revised timetable for Friday (starting from the Aragon round)

08 – 45 WSBK/STK 10 – Technical/Sporting Checks

08:45 – 09:15 STK 1000 – Free Practice 1

10:15 – 11:00 WSS – Free Practice 1

11am – 15pm WSBK – Free Practice (valid for access to the Superpole)

13:15 – 13:45 STK 1000 – Free Practice 2

14:00 – 14:45 WSS – Free Practice 2

15pm – 00pm WSBK – Free Practice 15 (valid for access to the Superpole)

For riders in the Supersport and Superstock 1000 classes, it is forbidden to carry out tests from the first race until the last round of the season, with the exception of a circuit designated by the team itself, on which they can test before the Sunday before the race week.

The 2015 medical regulation also sees some changes: the text has been completely rewritten and will be available on the FIM website in the next few days.

As regards the SNELL M2015, the safety certification of helmets supplied to pilots, it was added to the 2015 technical regulation as an internationally recognized standard.
