Superbike: Giugliano's Acuto in the third free practice session in Qatar

A bit of everything happens in the third free practice session on the Losail circuit, which offers the first verdicts with tomorrow's Superpole in mind, which will decide the starting grid for the last round of the season.

The most sensational news is the best time of Davide Giugliano, who evidently resolved the technical problems on his Panigale that had held him back in the first two rounds, and the exclusion from the second Superpole heat of Marco Melandri, who will have to fight for access in the first.

Behind the Roman Ducati rider we find Jonathan Rea, decidedly at ease on the Losail track, and Sylvain Guintoli, who precede Loris Baz, and the Suzuki duo Eugene Laverty and Alex Lowes, teammates for a few more days given the passage of the Northern Irishman in MotoGP.
Seventh time for Chaz Davies, who precedes Tom Sykes with the eighth time: the reigning champion will have to do much more tomorrow to not lose sight of Guintoli, even if today he concentrated above all on his race pace.
Leon Haslam and Toni Elias complete the top ten who enter directly into SP2.
Claudio Corti will not start qualifying: unfortunately he was unable to enter the top 20.
