SSP | Prosecco DOC UK Round, Tissot-Superpole: first pole for Cluzel

At Donington Park, where the sixth round of the FIM Supersport World Championship is taking place, Jules Cluzel (NRT) demonstrates that he is in excellent form by obtaining his first Tissot-Superpole of the season, the twentieth of his career, ahead of his compatriot and Reigning champion Lucas Mahias (GRT Yamaha Official WorldSSP Team) and Sandro Cortese (Kallio Racing).

The Frenchman is now aiming to achieve his third consecutive victory, after those in Assen and Imola, even if it won't be very easy in the race: in addition to the riders who will start alongside him, he will in fact have to watch out for classification leader Randy Krummenacher, fourth, and Federico Caricasulo, not very brilliant today and only seventh.

Returning to the starting grid, the second row is completed by Hikari Okubo (Kawasaki Puccetti Racing), fifth despite a crash at the end, and by Raffaele De Rosa (MV Agusta Reparto Corse by Vamag), sixth but who will try to get his third consecutive podium.

Alongside the aforementioned Federico Caricasulo (GRT Yamaha Official WorldSSP Team), seventh, we find Luke Stapleford (Profile racing), Ayrton Badovini (MV Agusta Reparto Corse by Vamag) and Sheridan Morais (Kawasaki Puccetti Racing), who replaces Kenan Sofuoglu after his withdrawal from WorldSSP, closing out the top 10.
