Simoncelli, Ben Spies “A warrior on the track and a smiling face in the paddock”
di Alessio Brunori25 October 2011
Through Facebook, Ben Spies wanted to leave his memory of Marco Simoncelli, a rider who tragically passed away after an accident that occurred on the 2nd lap of the Sepang race. Here are his words.
“It wasn't the same going home after this race weekend... Simoncelli had a truly unique style let me tell you. A warrior on the track and a smiling face in the paddock. It doesn't matter the depth of a friendship when it comes to these things…. it's just like opening everyone's eyes. To his fans and his family, I'm sorry about this."
