SIC Supermoto Day: MotoGP Vs Superbike riders news

News scheduled for the SIC Supermoto Day, which as usual will be held in Latina on 6 and 7 December on the "Il Sagittario" International Circuit.

In fact, in the main event on Saturday there will be the "MotoGP vs Superbike" challenge, in which 4 riders from the MotoGP championship will challenge 4 from the Superbike. After the qualifying times, the formation with the lowest times will start on the grid in positions 1/3/5/7 while the other in positions 2/4/6/8. The final will be spectacular, American style: ready to go and on the second lap, including the starting one, the checkered flag will wave and the last one will be eliminated, and so on until there are two drivers left, who will compete over a distance of 3 laps.

The event will take place as usual over two days. On Saturday the engines will start at 9am when the Taxi Drifting will take to the track, while at 10,30am it will be the turn of the Stuntmen with the cars. To see the two wheels on the track you will have to be patient until 11am with the two rounds of official testing of the All Stars category where assorted pairs will be present: Supermoto rider and MotoGP or SBK rider.

Qualifying for the 14,15+4 of the Vs Superbike world championship will begin at 4pm. The ceremony in honor of Doriano Romboni is scheduled for 15,50 pm.

The Sunday program will open at 9,00 when Taxi Drifting and Stuntman will warm up the track before the All Stars qualifying.

At 12,15 there will be a presentation ceremony for the teams and riders and then Taxi Drifting and Stuntman will entertain the public until 13,30 pm when the All Stars motorbikes will enter the starting grid and 15 minutes later the start to the highly anticipated endurance race which will take place over 58 laps, the number of the SIC.

At the start of this race, the confirmed riders are Biaggi, Dovizioso, Haslam, Canepa, Pasini, DJ Ringo, Meda, Vizziello, Antonelli, Iddon, Fabrizio, Salvadori, Ferrari, Cruciani and Savadori. For Supermoto the confirmed ones are Hermunen, T. Chareyre, Gaspardone, Borella, Promutico, Gente, Minutilli, Lancellotti, Gazzarri, Ciaglia, Guerra, Hollbacher, Lorenzini, Sammartin and Brambilla.
