The funeral of Doriano Romboni will take place today in Ceparana

The funeral of Doriano Romboni, who died in a tragic accident during Sic Supermoto Day testing they will be held tomorrow Tuesday 3 December at 15pm in the church of Ceparana in the province of La Spezia.

The funeral chapel was set up in the municipal building of Follo and a large crowd of relatives and friends arrived to say their final farewell to the pilot from La Spezia. The coffin (coming from Latina) was welcomed by more than 200 people.

Heartbreaking are the words of his wife Sara, married in August last year in Bolano (Sp) and who wrote on Doriano's Facebook profile “By now we will have been hugged on the sofa under our blanket and the fireplace always lit like Our Great Love, the girls waiting for us squeezed tightly in the bed and Cri who went back and forth with the cup of milk that ended up making us throat and we gave in…..now I'm here in the bed among them who have searched for you so much and I with your pajamas and your perfume go crazy with pain…..how will we do without you without your smile and your love. ..you lived for us and we for you...”
