SBK – On the eve of the 2019 Superbike championship season, the Pata Yamaha team presented the new livery of the YZF-R1.
The bike with which SKB, Michael van der Mark and Alex Lowes will compete in the championship was presented at Yamaha's Pan European Dealer Meeting in Seville and is called upon for a real feat.
In 2019 he will not only have to contend with Rea and his Kawasaki, but also with: Ducati, which will bring the new V4 to the track, and Honda and BMW who have decided to officially commit to the championship, with the support of their respective racing departments.
We remind you that the start of the championship is set for February 23rd at Phillip Island, it will be made up of 13 stages and a third race, a sprint, will be introduced during the race weekend. As regards television coverage, SBK changes 'home' in Italy, moving from the Mediaset networks to TV8.
