After achieving victory and two podiums in Aragon last weekend, the Aruba.it Racing – Ducati team is ready to face the fourth round of the Championship which will start tomorrow at the TT Circuit in Assen, Holland, with the day of testing free.

Both Chaz Davies and Marco Melandri will be chasing their first career success on this historic track, where they have already reached the podium with the Panigale R: the Welshman four times and the Italian once.
On track with them there will also be Michael Ruben Rinaldi with the Aruba.it Racing – Junior Team who achieved two podiums here with the STK1000: the young Italian driver is coming off an excellent performance in Aragon, where he achieved a seventh and an eighth place in the race.

After three rounds, Davies and Melandri are 2nd (102 points) and 3rd (96 points) in the standings respectively, while Rinaldi is 14th (17 points).

“I'm very confident ahead of the fourth round even though, historically, Assen has never been among the most favorable tracks for me” – he said Chaz Davies – “There, in recent years, we have constantly improved the setup and have progressively gotten closer to victory. We know what we need and the setup of our package is more than good, so there are many reasons to be optimistic. I think it's going to be another good fight, and I can't wait to get started."

“Assen is a track that I have always liked, especially in the old configuration but also in the new one. I haven't managed to win there yet in Superbike, and that remains the goal. To achieve this, we must continue to work hard to improve the stability of the bike” – he stated Marco Melandri – “We made some steps forward in Aragon, but we still have work to do to be more consistent and be able to attack throughout the race. Physically I feel in great shape, so I'm confident and can't wait to get back on the bike."

“After a positive debut in Aragon, we arrive at Assen with a little more experience, which we will try to put to good use. We will work hard and methodically, especially in the second half of the race, to get even closer to the leaders. I like the track and I can't wait to tackle it on the Superbike” – he said Michael Ruben Rinaldi.
