SBK Gp Jerez Yamaha – Toprak Razgatlıoglu finished Race 1 of the Spanish Grand Prix in Jerez, the 12th stage of the 2023 World Championship, in second position.

In an exciting battle with his rival Alvaro Bautista, Razgatlıoğlu shared his determination and unwavering commitment to fight for the title. Razgatlıoğlu is keen to let it be known that he has no intention of giving up and that he is already looking forward to the next Race 2 with confidence.

“Every race weekend we kept fighting for the championship, Alvaro is very strong and he deserves it – he got a lot of victories and we had good battles – I think I'm fighting even more than him! In the last races I am pushing for the victory and we have taken excellent points to maintain the championship until the last races. Today I continue to fight with him, the first laps went well but when the rear tire started to fail it was not possible to accelerate like him. We continue to do our best and finish the race P2 again, but we have two more races and we will see what is possible - I will try the best position again. There are many people from Yamaha here this weekend to be with me, I'm waiting for Race 2, we'll see tomorrow."
