SBK Ducati – World Superbike leader Nicolò Bulega underwent surgery to resolve the problem relating to compartment syndrome.

The Ducati rider underwent an operation performed by Professor Alessio Pedrazzini today at the Oglio Po hospital (Cremona) to resolve the problem relating to chronic exertional compartment syndrome (arm pump syndrome).

In Barcelona the #11 of the two-wheeled "Red" saw the problem limit his performance and hence the need for surgery.

Bulega will now have plenty of time to recover from the operation and present himself in the best conditions for the third round of the 2023 WorldSBK season scheduled for 19 to 21 April at the TT Circuit in Assen (Netherlands).
