Rossi, there will be 200 MotoGP races in Jerez
At the Spanish GP Rossi will celebrate a new important milestone
Valentino Rossi next Sunday in Jerez will join the exclusive club of riders with two hundred or more participations in MotoGP.
The Ducati rider from Pesaro is destined to become the third rider in the 64-year history of the MotoGP to reach the milestone of 200 GPs contested in the premier class, together with Alex Barros and Loris Capirossi. Rossi made his debut in the 500 class in 2000 at Welkom in South Africa. Since then he has won seven world titles and 79 races, out of a total of 105 taking into account the victories obtained in 250 and 125. This year is Valentino's 13th in MotoGP, and even if he has been winless since leaving Yamaha for Ducati at the end of 2010, the Doctor is in fifth place among the most successful riders ever: Alex Barros, Phil Read, Giacomo Agostini and Loris Capirossi have had longer careers in the premier class, but none have been as victorious as the Ducati rider .
In terms of appearances, Rossi is in third place, behind Alex Barros with 245 GPs and Loris Capirossi with 217; then followed by Carlos Checa with 194, Kenny Roberts Jr. with 167, Sete Gibernau at 160, Jack Findlay at 157, Colin Edwards at 153, Nicky Hayden at 152 and Randy Mamola at 145.

Best wishes champion………. :–)
Rossi made his debut in 2000 in MotoGP? But are you sure?
UMBERTO, Rossi in 2000 was in the premier class (500cc) which later became MotoGP!!!
They wrote clearly I would say..! :P
once again….let's hope!
I meant that in my opinion he debuted before 2000 in MotoGP
and I also add in the 500 then it becomes a thousand then 800 then 1000 again.
Hello
such a great experience, a past as a super champion, super famous and he still can't find the position in the saddle... what a shame, those who say he was always helped by his uncle are right... it's just a blaf he only wins if he has the best bike of the lot .
Best wishes !!!!!
It would be nice not only to indicate the 200 races but also to mention how many podiums he achieved in these races... How many first, second and third places
Maybe people like Angelo could help us with this… Just to understand how many times he found the position in the saddle….
Great angel. Who knows how you ride a motorbike
Hahahhahaha and who knows how many races you have competed in MotoGP
Oopsss maybe your uncle didn't help you otherwise at this point you could have been more famous than you are...
I would wait before celebrating...
come on maybe he'll celebrate by beating everyone!!!!!...all those on the CRTs....
Ric
I don't need anyone UNCLE, I'm fine like this and I don't have to say thanks to anyone. I'm famous enough to be calm. ps think for yourself instead of defending a blaf made to measure for people like you bye and bye unless health is important you know
@Angel
Come on… Stop talking bullshit… ;)
