Qatar – MotoGP QP1 – Valentino Rossi: 'It's fine like this'
di Alessio Brunori30 September 2004
Valentino Rossi achieved the sixth fastest time today in the first official practice for the Qatar GP. However, the Yamaha rider from Pesaro is not worried and is aiming
to improve tomorrow. These are his words:
“I really like the track both in terms of asphalt and design but today was a strange day. The grip was very precarious and will certainly improve tomorrow unless there is too much sand on the track. Today I wasn't able to put on the tire for a long time and this penalized my position on the grid. The bike goes quite well even if we have some problems on the front. I also did some 'straight' but I was just looking for the braking point. My opponents for the title are more or less like me, that's fine."
