Prosecco DOC Dutch Round: Rea wins a fantastic Race 1

It was a crazy race that just ended at the TT Circuit in Assen: dry track and great brawl at the top with Jonathan Rea regaining the top step of the podium ahead of Chaz Davies and Nicky Hayden.

Great spectacle for the large audience present in the stands and also, unfortunately, great disappointment for Van der Mark, who crashed with three laps to go while fighting for the victory.

A race that gradually lost some of its protagonists, starting with Guintoli who left the scene in the early stages.
Davide Giugliano had to return to the pits probably due to a technical problem, perhaps with a tyre.
However, Tom Sykes crashed a few laps later while battling with Rea: he came out of turn 16 too fast, braked late and was unable to control his Ninja.

The entire front row leaves the scene, the three up front, Davis, Rea and Van der Mark give life to a relentless battle to conquer the top step of the podium, with Hayden fourth and ready to take advantage of every flaw.

The fall of his teammate, who lost the front in the turn, gave the podium to the American driver, while Rea beat Davies, guilty of some mistakes in his driving.

Fourth was a great Leon Camier who gave an excellent result to the Mv Agusta, ahead of Jordi Torres, author of a very consistent race, who got the better of an excellent Lorenzo Savadori, who continues to grow together with the RSV4 of the IodaRacing team and Markus Reiterberger .
At the end, big difficulties for Alex Lowes, who finished eighth ahead of Roman Ramos, Team Go Eleven Kawasaki and Lucas Mathias, immediately in the top ten on his first outing with the Pedercini team Ninja as a replacement for the injured Sylvain Barrier.
