Tom Sykes was the fastest driver at the end of the second free practice session of the Pirelli Aragon Round, on the Aragon Motorland track.

behind him Chaz Davies, who kept his pace high and ended the session in second position, three tenths behind the English leader, and Michael Van Der Mark who brought the Honda back to the top positions with the third lap fastest of the day.

Nicky Hayden and Karel Abraham, driver of the Milwaukee BMW team, went off the track, without any consequences, with the American from Honda finishing only seventh.

The one who improved significantly compared to the first session was Davide Giugliano, who finished with the fourth best time ahead of an incredible Lorenzo Savadori who took his Aprilia to fifth place.

Even De Angelis, despite not being in perfect physical condition, had a good feeling with his RSV4 RF and narrowly missed out on the top ten, concluding with the eleventh fastest time.
As for the home riders, the fastest was Xavi Forés, ninth, while Jordi Torres finished in twelfth position, ahead of his teammate Markus Reiterberger.

Alex Lowes completes the top ten, with a Yamaha in difficulty if we consider the 14th time of Sylvain Guintoli, who will have to pass through the first heat of Tissot-Superpole tomorrow to try to obtain one of the two passes for SP2.

Let's remember tomorrow's appointments, Saturday 2 April: 8am third free practice session, starting from 45am Tissot-Superpole, 10pm Race 30.
