Niccolò Antonelli on his Moto2 debut: “Incredible experience”

Moto2 2022 VR46 Racing Team – Niccolò Antonelli, after a decade-long career in Moto3, will race the 2022 MotoGP championship riding the Kalex Moto2 of the VR46 Racing Team.

The rider from Cattolica who will join Celestino Vietti, tried the new bike in the recent Jerez tests, saying he was enthusiastic about the leap in displacement. Here's what former KTM Avintia Moto3 rider had to say.

“An incredible experience, I'm really happy to have tried Moto2: I immediately found myself at ease with the new team. It's a shame about the weather, the asphalt was never completely dry, but we were already able to understand a lot about the new bike. Compared to yesterday, the sensations are good and we already know where we need to intervene during the winter to be able to take a step. I can't wait to get back on track in 2022.”
