MotoGP 2015 Movistar Yamaha GP Australia Preview – The duel between Valentino Rossi and Jorge Lorenzo will continue on Sunday at Phillip Island. The champion from Pesaro arrives on the Australian circuit (one of his favorites and where he also won last year) with 18 points ahead of the Majorcan, a good margin, which however Rossi has decided not to manage. The goal is to get ahead of Lorenzo also in the land of kangaroos.

“Phillip Island is a very particular track. I like it, like most riders, but it is always difficult to find the right setting and the conditions are often difficult, with a lot of wind and low temperatures – said Valentino Rossi – We hope for a good weekend, like last year and we will try to have a good race to get on the podium, ahead of Jorge. We need to think race by race, now it's time to focus on Phillip Island and try to get the maximum."

Come on Vale! If you manage to beat Lorenzo here too, the title really becomes possible!!

Let's hope, also because in the end he deserves it more than anyone else, he certainly wouldn't have stolen anything from anyone... :)

    – 3 races!!!
The championship is almost over!! :(
To finish this world championship in the best possible way, I still hope for another good hard-fought victory, one of those that will remain in the memory for years and years!

As I understand racing, I really enjoyed myself this year and often arrived out of breath at the end of each race, precisely because there was competitiveness and alternation on the top step.
The last 4 world championships, with the absolute dominance of just one driver whoever he was, were a bit scary, I was waiting for them to frame the rear like in F11 to see a bit of brawl...

at the end of these 3 races, whoever wins (obviously I hope Rossi), but I had fun….

2014 was dominated by Marc, but 2013 was fought out until the last race, Marquez won by just 5 points over Lorenzo.

2012 was fought for half the season, 2011 was dominated by Stoner a little less than in 2014 by Marquez.

Let's say that this is the most hotly contested World Cup since 2013

Rossi and Lorenzo haven't fought against each other for the world championship since 2009-2010.

Well, let's say since 2009...in 2010 Rossi was out of the running at the fourth GP

Yes, Luca, you're right, 2010 didn't last long, but the start was very balanced. What I meant to say is that Rossi was in good shape that year, although in hindsight, he was slowed down a lot, both by the leg injury and the shoulder injury. So he would hardly have been able to compete for the world championship until the end.
