MotoGP: Valentino Rossi, “The relationship with Marquez? I'm not worried about 2016."

His team-mate Lorenzo said, "If Rossi wants to talk I'm available"

MotoGP: Valentino Rossi, “The relationship with Marquez? I'm not worried about 2016."MotoGP: Valentino Rossi, “The relationship with Marquez? I'm not worried about 2016."

MotoGP 2016 – The 2015 world championship, which went to Jorge Lorenzo, was characterized by the post-Phillip Island events. After the Australian race, won by Marc Marquez ahead of Jorge Lorenzo, Andrea Iannone and Valentino Rossi, the latter had accused the Honda champion in the Sepang press conference of wanting to favor his compatriot in the title fight.

The epilogue was then the famous contact in Sepang between Rossi and Marquez, where the latter had the worst and which had cost the Yamaha rider from Pesaro dearly, who in the decisive race in Valencia had been forced to start from the last row cause of the penalty.

Rossi returned to the topic and commented as follows: “The future with Marquez, I don't know. Now the story is very hot,” admitted the Yamaha rider as reported by Autosport.

Rossi then added that he was very calm and not afraid of what could happen next season. "What can I say? What can I do? Should I stop because I'm scared? I'm just trying to explain my point of view and explain what happened. The rest is not my job.”

Speaking about 2016, he left a "door" open regarding his relationship with Marquez. “I'm not very worried about next season. There will be other more important things, especially the motivation to continue and try to win again. There will be big changes such as the return of Michelin and the single control unit.”

His teammate Jorge Lorenzo, winner of the 2015 title, one of the most "poisoned" in history, explained to 'Indo-Asian News Service' and subsequently reported by "Motorsport" the following: “Before the Malaysian Grand Prix, the relationship between us was good, but Rossi said Marquez was helping me to win and he continued to say this even after Valencia. I have been attacked on social media by Valentino's Italian fans, but I have no problem with him. If he wants to come talk to me, I'm willing to talk. It depends on him. Valentino is a great teammate and it's good for Yamaha to have two such strong riders,” said the Majorcan.

Finally a reflection on the season to come, “This was my toughest season. 2013 was difficult and Marquez beat me by just four points, but 2016 will be even harder and more competitive. Valentino will still fight for the championship, then there will be the challenge with Pedrosa and Marquez, also other manufacturers like Suzuki could be fast."

ah well...who knows why after Sepang instead of making complaints, complaining, and saying that "Rossi deserved a more severe punishment" he didn't go to "talk" to Valentino.

It's easy to "talk" now when they helped you win and from all this victory he only gained, in 3 races he was helped and won thanks to that. It's easy to talk now...

Go Rossi! I hope you still find the motivation for at least this championship!!! May he beat them both again this year. An eye for an eye, a tooth for a tooth.. I want to see him at Marc next year.. if he stays 30 laps behind Lorenzo.. and I want to see him when Rossi is there... I hope Rossi repays him for this year's "favors" with the same coin !!

What a liar, already on the podium in Malaysia when you hadn't yet seen anything of what happened you had thumbed down and criticized the management for a penalty that was too light not to mention the statements "now everyone knows who Rossi is", well we know but what fish are you? After all this you come back with your tail between your legs, maybe you're afraid of losing the Yamaha? You know well that without your career it would be over. I'm against insults but I can't find anything less than a puppet!!!!

You have the nickname MM93 but you're happy that Lorenzo won and your MM93 came third this year, falling so many times that Rolling Stoner was jealous in 2006

the nickname is a cover, we all know it. You're still sad... in the end it's a sport, if Rossi wins or loses nothing goes into my pocket...

In addition to Lorenzo and Marc being "best friends" on the track, it's nice to see how Marc's fans collaborate by paying homage to Lorenzo... Biscuits everywhere, even among the fans ahaha

Have a nice day, and see you in 2016...you'll see how Marc falls on his ass, or he dives headfirst!! or why not...maybe he will fight Rossi again and end up on the ground, like all those other times he tried to battle with Rossi...See Misano 2014, Argentina 2015, Silversonte, 2015, Sepang 2015...
You will see in Qatar 2016 that you slip on the Michelins... it will be funny :)

  • H954RR said:

Hahaha, the one about "falling so many times to make rolling stoner jealous in 2006" is funny, but do we want to remember someone's two-year anniversary in ducati?
Those two years certainly make us envious, but in everyone hahaha!
    Falls?
Maybe but the same goes for the super mega test driver, I'm not just for the others, but how much pain (to be good) I'm feeling between wishing for death, getting very seriously hurt and falling towards the other pilots from the canaries, poor!

    1. H954RR said:

For “Falls?” means those wished for the coming year.

    2. Durim said:

What is the problem?? You can insult Rossi, I can't quote Stoner?? If I quoted him I felt like quoting him.

Secondly, I didn't wish Marc to fall, or die, or to get hurt. Simply in his third year in MotoGP he crashed 13 times, and next year with the unreliable Michelins he is likely to crash the same a lot. It's an observation that depends on the falls made this year. It's not wishing anything on anyone. Unlike you, I don't wish harm on anyone ridiculous.

Have I lost respect for Marc? yes, but half the world lost it for him :)

      1. H954RR said:

There would be no problem, it's just that if we're talking about falls then there are those who have fallen much more, mostly unlike Casey who at least pulled while the super phenomenon... fell while walking.
When it comes to bad luck, I don't mean you directly, but most of those on your side who have heard/read absurd nonsense, and in any case I have never wished to fall or get hurt on the Tavullia pilot, let's be clear. , more than ridiculous.
Don't worry, the one who most of all has lost respect around the world is the one who deliberately took his opponent off course and then made him fall with the tic of his open thigh.

      2. Durim said:

no offense...but if you still believe that Rossi made him fall with the football there's no point in arguing.

PS: Are you saying that Rossi has lost people's respect?

        http://th.motoblog.it/PYFPO-YB73D61XlFYgMWyHynFow=/fit-in/655xorig/http://media.motoblog.it/b/bc0/valentino-rossi-motogp-2015-valencia-4.jpg

But did you see it after Valencia, did you turn off the TV halfway through the race when you realized that Marquez and Lorenzo had agreed and the race was over?!

I believe that his image has remained intact, unlike the other 2

      3. ueueue said:

..I still hear the boos that were on the podium in Valencia..

..he may have won the world championship but you know what a good impression he made..especially the bodyguard..these are really great men here..

        Strength is worth it!

      4. H954RR said:

X durim, put the kick aside but in any case he took it off course on purpose and that's why he was sanctioned by the match commission, fall due to kick or not the move was anything but correct.
As for the matter of esteem, it depends on where you look, certainly on the one hand he hasn't lost any as you say and perhaps he has gained some but trust me on the other hand he has lost some, I personally have had (peaceful) discussions with quite a few canaries who were very disappointed by that move.

      5. Durim said:

He was wrong. Yes...I don't deny it. Football didn't give it, it was CONFIRMED and there's no point in discussing it. Sincere? If he had given a kick and made him fall because of that, I would also have lost a lot of respect for Rossi. But…it took him off course. A no-brainer, but in the end he didn't throw it down. If Marc hadn't crashed into Rossi and fallen, "taking him off course" would be a trivial matter...and all this mess wouldn't have happened. It's the fall, along with Rossi losing the platform and making it look like football that has caused a lot of problems.
Rossi made a mistake and I would say he paid dearly...

But Marc? I believe that what Marc did, although within the regulations, is much, much worse. I know you're a Stoner fan. Did he also throw a punch at De Puniet? it seems to you that Stoner is an incorrect driver. A moment of anger and lack of clarity can happen to anyone... it happened to Stoner and it happened to Rossi. But Marc did much worse. His was not a "moment of lack of lucidity", but 3 races of diabolical lucidity, or 2 if you don't want to count P. Island :)

Then for goodness' sake, Rossi made a mistake and paid for it by losing the world championship which he had in his pocket with 3 races to go :) In any case Rossi had a great season and I'm still satisfied to have seen some good races :)

      6. Durim said:

I wrote a little badly. I meant that Stoner also had moments of incorrectness. This does not make him an incorrect driver. Rossi's mistake was caused by nervousness. He's human too...but he's not a bad driver. Because if he is one then everyone in the world championship is one.
But Marc... it's him that I've lost respect for.
