MotoGP – Valencia – An error ruins Elias' race

Toni Elias' first thought goes, rightly, to the new world champion, but then immediately to his team who managed to make him win his first MotoGP race just a week ago. His boys, as he likes to call them, were close to him even in difficult moments, making him believe in himself and trying to console him. Today's race wasn't the best, but the fact remains that from next season he could be one of the many protagonists in search of podiums and victories.

“I'm happy because I tried to ride as best I could. I made a good comeback, from 13th to sixth position. At the beginning it was difficult for me to go fast but as the laps went by I got into a good rhythm. An error during the twentieth lap complicated the comeback a bit, but I can say I'm satisfied. I would like to thank my team, Fausto Gresini, my crew chief Cecchini and all the guys. My congratulations to Nicky Hayden on winning the title."
