MotoGP | Valencia Test Day 2: Morbidelli, “With this bike you go fast, but you don't notice it”

MotoGP Test Valencia SIC Petronas Day 2 – The ability to adapt on the Yamaha of Franco Morbidelli's SIC Petronas team continues to amaze. The Italian-Brazilian driver closed the second day of testing with the sixth fastest time, just two tenths of a second from the best time of the two-day test recorded by his brand mate, Maverick Vinales.

Morbidelli completed 58 laps during the day, stopping the clock at 1'30.974. The next appointment will be in Jerez on November 28th and 29th for a private test session.

These are the words of Franco Morbidelli: “Today was a positive day. We worked more on the bike, starting with the suspension. We went better and better, even with the new tire we set good times, not far from Vinales, in short it was a fantastic day. The electronics? Everything OK. I'm fast, there are definitely points where I can improve, I have to understand where to push with this bike, but the nice thing is that you turn hard but you don't even notice it, it's a great feeling."

On the other side of the garage, Fabio Quartararo's apprenticeship continues. The French driver closed Day 2 with the sixteenth fastest time.

These are the words of Fabio Quartararo: “We were able to improve a lot on the second day of the test and I am really satisfied with all the work we did. We couldn't do too many laps yesterday, but today every time I went on the track the feeling with the bike improved."
