MotoGP | Valencia Test Day 1: Rossi, “The new engine has given good results”
Rossi added: "It was a pretty positive day, tomorrow we'll try another engine"
MotoGP GP Valencia Yamaha Test Valencia Day 1 – Valentino Rossi closed the first day of IRTA testing of the MotoGP class in Valencia with the third fastest time, behind team-mate Maverick Vinales and reigning champion Marc Marquez.
The Pesaro rider, like Vinales, used the first evo of the 2019 engine, saying he was satisfied, the bike feels smoother, even if tire wear remains to be resolved. The word is up to him.
“It was a pretty positive day, we managed to complete 40 laps. The first impression of the new engine is positive, it is smoother, even as an engine brake, even if the latter is a little different. I was quite fast, the bike seems easier to ride, then it rained, but the important thing was to try the new engine.”
Rossi then continued: “The bike seems easier to ride, both in braking and acceleration, but the tire wear has not yet been resolved, even if the track was not in the best conditions. Tomorrow we will test another engine, but in terms of frame, link and swingarm we are fine for now, these are not our problems now."

Remember these words canaries to evaluate the work for 2019 ... "the bike goes quite well", remember this!!!
ahahahahaha I bet fatman that these words will be reversed next year
Ahahahahah You don't even know how to read, they tested an engine, only that one, the sensations are on the engine, then come and report statements to the dog's ass as usual.
I forgot, remember the therapy.

Suuuuuuuuuuuka gnawing
Who and if they have worked well during the winter will only be known at the end of the first race weekend next year when they will really put everything on the field and push the package to the limit, and as usual we will have to see which tires will provide the next year and who will have the bike that best suits that type of tyre. For now Yamaha has more wear problems than the others and for now they haven't solved it.
…I'm still celebrating the Valencia crash…in fact, I've never stopped celebrating since the Valencia 2015 race, wonderful
