Valencian Community GP Valencia MotoGP Honda Repsol Qualifying – Dani Pedrosa, on the occasion of the Valencia GP, the last round of the 2017 MotoGP, will start from the fifth spot on the grid.

The Honda rider, in the turn that awarded pole, got stuck in traffic and was unable to set the perfect lap. Despite this, however, given yesterday's excellent pace, the #26 is confident for tomorrow even if the choice of tire will be fundamental.

These are the words of Dani Pedroda: “We worked a lot on the pace this weekend but we still have to make our final tire choice for the race, because the temperature could change tomorrow. The qualifying session didn't go as we would have liked because unfortunately I couldn't set the perfect lap, and also because I encountered some traffic during my fastest lap. Even if we start from fifth position tomorrow, we will try to make a good start and stay in front straight away. There are a handful of riders with good pace, including Marc, Lorenzo and others, but in the race we will have to see what the strategy will be for each of them, which depends on their tire choices. Without a doubt, we will be sure to give 100% because it would be nice to finish the season with a good result."
