MotoGP – Valencia QP1 – Daniel Pedrosa: "I'll try to make a good start"

During the qualifying tests Dani did not shine very much, traveling throughout the session between twelfth and tenth position, but then with the qualifying tires he managed to climb up to sixth position, better, but not excellent, considering that Rossi is on pole and that Dani will have to do everything possible to slow down the doctor in favor of his teammate, but with a good start the Catalan will perhaps be able to escape with the leading group

“Today we had a good test for tomorrow and we made progress with the settings for the race and tire selection. We may or may not have a clear understanding of the settings, although we still have to find a few tenths because various riders improved their pace in the afternoon. In the timed session I didn't try to go very fast with the qualifying tires at the start. After that we were able to improve and we qualified sixth, which isn't perfect because Rossi is on pole. Starting from the second row I will try to make a good start to go away with the leaders. It will be a race in front of lots of fans and I want to win from the start.”
