Gigi Dall'Igna, General Director of Ducati Corse, took stock of the 2014 season, his first year with Ducati. A season closed with a positive result in Valencia, which saw Andrea Iannone leading for the first 10 laps of the race and Andrea Dovizioso and Cal Crutchlow finishing in fourth and fifth position. The word is up to him.

“We close the 2014 season with a positive result. Both Dovizioso and Crutchlow had a good race today and Michele Pirro also managed to get into the top ten. Furthermore, Andrea Iannone led the race for the first ten laps and this demonstrates the good level of competitiveness we have achieved. My first year with Ducati also ends with this Grand Prix. They have been very intense and demanding twelve months, but also full of satisfaction. Together with the Ducati Corse guys and our riders we managed to continuously improve the performance of our bikes, obtaining three podiums but above all managing to reduce the gap from the leaders within the limits we had set ourselves as an objective. The new season already begins tomorrow, which we will face with two Italian riders, Andrea Dovizioso and Andrea Iannone, sure of having two of the fastest riders in MotoGP at our disposal. We greet Cal Crutchlow with affection and wish him a sincere "good luck" in his new adventure."
