MotoGP Valencia: Andrea Iannone “I'm close to Dovizioso and Hayden”

Eleventh time for Andrea Iannone in qualifying for the last GP of the 2013 world championship, which will take place tomorrow on the Ricardo Tormo circuit in Valencia. The Pramac Ducati Team rider is close to the Ducatis of the internal team of Andrea Dovizioso and Nicky Hayden, here's what he declared at the end of the tests.

“This morning we tried to change the geometry of the bike to improve in tight corners, but unfortunately the change didn't turn out to be right. In fact, we gained a little in rideability, but otherwise the bike was less competitive, especially when braking. We then went back and were close to the Ducatis of “Dovi” and Nicky again, so I can expect a good result tomorrow.”

Hard or soft tires for the race?

“I lapped a lot on the soft tires and the times, even after many laps, weren't bad. I used the hard one less, because we used the soft one a lot, but it's not bad either, now we'll see and then we'll decide.”
