MotoGP | Official, Oliveira in Tech3 since 2019

MotoGP Riders Market – Another important player in the market finds his place, Miguel Oliveira will debut next year in MotoGP in the Tech3 team.

The Portuguese is the first official rider in Hervè Poncharal's team, which we remember will be equipped with KTM motorbikes next year.

Oliveira's entire career has always been linked to the Austrian brand and Red Bull. He raced in the Red Bull Rookies Cup, then in Moto3 with the KTM Ajo team and now in the intermediate category again with the Mattighofen brand.

The name of the second driver for the Tech3 team is currently unknown, but Hafizh Syahrin will most likely be reconfirmed.

I have always dreamed of MotoGP. We still have a long Moto2 season ahead and the fact that the contract has already been signed allows me to relax and concentrate on riding. I've always been linked to Red Bull and KTM, we've been together since the Rookies Cup. I think I'm the first. I think this shows other riders that they can trust KTM and their project. I believe I have the skills and the will to be able to work well on a MotoGP.”
