MotoGP Riders Market – The last pieces of the drivers' market are finding their position. The Reale Avintia Racing team has announced the hiring of Karel Abraham for two seasons.

The current team of the driver from the Czech Republic, Angel Nieto team, will pass under the management of Petronas-SIC next year, which during the Silverstone GP officially announced the line up of the drivers, Franco Morbidelli and Fabio Quartararo. Without a saddle anymore, his teammate, Alvaro Bautista, had already announced his move to the SBK championship for next season, while #17 was still negotiating for a place in the premier class.

On the occasion of the hiring of Karel Abraham, the Reale Avintia Racing team also announced the extension of the contract for the supply of motorcycles with Ducati for another two seasons.

The Czech driver will be riding a GP18, the same one that his teammate, Tito Rabat, should also have at his disposal.

These words Karel Abraham: “I am very happy to continue in MotoGP next year and I would like to thank the Reale Avintia Racing team for this opportunity. We signed at Silverstone because for me it was very important to finalize every detail of the contract to obtain competitive bikes. This also worked thanks to a lot of help from Luigi Dall'Igna and Paolo Ciabatti of Ducati. The important part is that I will have the Ducati GP18 with the new specifications, which has achieved good results this season. Thanks to this, I believe we will be able to achieve good results and I am already very excited about next season."

Raul Romero, CEO Esponsorama, added: “I am very happy to see Karel Abraham join our team. He is a hard worker, he won in Moto2 and has a lot of experience in MotoGP and with Ducati. I think that with the better material and with the work of the whole team, next year Karel will be able to show his true potential. And I am also happy to announce that we will continue with Ducati for another two seasons."
