MotoGP Italian GP – The Italian Grand Prix, sixth stage of the 2019 MotoGP World Championship, is scheduled for this weekend on the Mugello track.

The Tuscan circuit has historically been a favorable terrain for Italian drivers. From 2002 to 2007, Italian doubles were a custom, even in 2003 the entire podium was monopolized by our standard bearers with Valentino Rossi ahead of Loris Capirossi and Max Biaggi, as well as in 2005 with 4 Italians in the top 4 positions.

In 2017 Andrea Dovizioso climbed to the top step of the podium, achieving a historic victory. Last year, however, the Forlì native was beaten by Jorge Lorenzo, with Rossi on the third step of the podium. This year we will have to deal with Marc Marquez in great form, but Ducati seems to have sharpened its claws for the home GP and Rossi is ready to give everything to return to celebrate in front of his yellow tide.
