Dani Pedrosa closed the third and final day of MotoGP collective testing in Valencia with the second time, the first for 2015. The Spanish Honda rider achieved his best time with the new bike, but with which, like his team, -mate Marc Marquez doesn't have a perfect feeling. Here's what he told us.

“Today was a very productive test. The weather allowed us to score good lap times and we were able to test the new bike. Overall it was a positive test and the work that the HRC technicians will do this winter will be important. They have collected a lot of data to bring to Japan and I'm sure that by the time we get to Sepang they will have made a great development."

What are the parts where the new bike needs to improve?

“The engine is more powerful and therefore makes the bike more difficult to ride, especially on the rear. However, today we did not work to improve this aspect, so I am confident in terms of the future."

Next year the bikes will weigh 2kg less, do you think this could be an advantage for you?

“It will certainly be an advantage. Not that it isn't for others, but it will definitely help me.”

What are your goals? HRC executive vice-president Shuhei Nakamoto said he was very disappointed that you didn't finish second in the championship.

“We are here to improve, we work hard and next year will be a different year, where I hope to be at the top.”
