After yesterday's interruption due to rain, Cal Crutchlow was able to get back on the Honda of the CWM LCR team today to continue his "apprenticeship" on this new bike. The Englishman put together several short runs, for a total of 53 laps, and also managed to improve on the best time set on Monday. After these tests, Cal will take some time off before starting preparations for next year.

“All in all it was a positive start. We didn't focus on the fastest lap, preferring technique to speed to see how I feel on this bike. We have modified the chassis and electronics a bit but I still struggle to "tame" the Honda. That's why I'm happy to have done my best lap on used tires and let go of new tyres. Unfortunately I had a bit of a heavy fall: a real highside. My knees and hands hurt but I got back on track anyway. We now have enough data to analyze before the Sepang tests in 2015 and, after some well-deserved rest, I will start my training programme."
