Second day of testing for Danilo Petrucci aboard the Pramac Racing Ducati. The rider from Terni rode in the rain, obtaining the best time of the day. For him it was also a crash without consequences, here's what he told us at the end of Day 2.

"It was a beautiful day. I shot at the best time, when the rain was less heavy. I fell when it started raining again. We didn't have a particular plan, but we needed to shoot under water. It was very cold, the asphalt never exceeded 12° and I understand why many remained stuck in the pits.”

Did you go very fast in the wet, thanks to the Ducati, which everyone "paints" as being strong on the rain tires? How did you find it?

“I felt good in the wet, it's never been a problem for me as I come from off-road, so I'm a little more used to feeling the bike slide.”

You also slipped, but fortunately you escaped unscathed.

“I'm sorry for the fall, I presented myself badly! Fortunately I didn't do much damage and in fact as soon as I fell I looked at the bike which fortunately only suffered damage to the levers and the fairing. I was pushing, I was 1,5 km/h faster than the lap before, but it was enough to crash.”

How do you feel with your new team?

“I feel very comfortable, the attention to detail amazed me. I would have preferred to work in the dry today too, but it's fine as a first impression. Let's hope tomorrow is dry. Yesterday I realized that the power of this bike never ends!”
