Nicky Hayden he closed the second day of testing in Sepang with the 14th time, 2 seconds behind the fastest, Dani Pedrosa. However, the American, despite being in the lower part of the ranking, is not too discouraged also because he rides a motorbike, the Honda Open, which is totally new and then, the feeling with the vehicle improves more and more every day. Of course, if you look at how Aleix Espargarò's Yamaha Open is going, there's little to smile about, but Honda's is a bike truly created from scratch, while Espargarò's M1 open is actually a 2013 factory Yamaha.

“The track is still very dirty – said Nicky Hayden – but the conditions today were a little better than yesterday when it was quite slippery, especially in the first corner. It's also really hot but we still managed to do our job, focusing mainly on the suspension and setup. Then we worked on the gearbox even if at the moment we don't have much to test in that area. However, the feeling today was quite good, we improved the lap time and we hope to continue to lower the best lap tomorrow too, perhaps thanks to the improvements made on the bike but also thanks to my riding. Tomorrow, however, we still have several things to do, including the race simulation"

It's a shame that Honda didn't make a choice for Yamaha, that is, to give you the satellite bikes of 2013... Maybe throwing in a Kalex or a Suter which will essentially only make the fairings on your bike (like FTR with Yamaha, given that the frame is the Yamaha one , at least for this year....)

Sin…. Let's hope that Honda at least takes action by giving you important updates.

Come on Nicky, even if in my opinion you are a bit sacrificed by riding the Honda Open... Too bad.
