MotoGP | Sepang Test Day 2: Quartararo, “We can be satisfied”
"I didn't do a time attack because it started raining" added the Frenchman
IRTA Test Sepang Monster Energy Yamaha MotoGP 2022 – Fabio Quartararo closed the second and final day of testing in Sepang with the seventh fastest time.
The Frenchman was hoping to do more laps at the Sepang circuit, but several sudden showers altered his plan. However, the reigning world champion was able to conclude the first official IRTA 2022 test with a good feeling. His best time of 1'58.313 ended 0.182 from the first.

“I'm really happy with my pace. Unfortunately I kept two tires to do a time attack, and then it rained. But I had a great ride this morning! I'm quite happy because I'm coming from a very old rear tire, and let's say the gap between them was too big. I couldn't really take advantage of the new rear tire, but I'm super happy. I think we have some margin on one lap and I think it was a good test. We can be satisfied. In Mandalika we will test again what we tried in this test and see if there are positive results.”
