At the end of the day, Daniel Pedrosa turns out to be better than the Honda riders. Not an absolute novelty, not something to embroider big headlines or surprising comments on. The boy who has dominated two-stroke racing for three years now (125, 250) is also going strong with the rocket-powered 990cc prototypes, more than any "deb" of recent years. If we think about how much people like Hayden or Melandri struggled initially, it's a pleasant surprise, and a long-awaited confirmation after what has been shown since 2003. Well done Dani, it's just a shame for today, where in the afternoon without the rain he would have been tested for a very important race simulation, where he would have probably taken 15 to 20 consecutive laps on the RCV. In any case, Pedrosa was the best of the Honda riders in the morning, trying different set-up solutions that would be verified in the afternoon...
