MotoGP – Sepang Test Day 2 – Hopkins is the fastest, Rossi 5th, Capirossi 6th

John Hopkins was also the fastest on the second day of MotoGP testing in Sepang; the Team Suzuki rider in fact stopped the clock at a time of 2'01"806, bringing his "Gamma 7" ahead of Colin Edwards' Yamaha. Suzuki therefore confirms itself at the Top and confirmation is the third time of Chris Vermeulen, Hopkins' teammate.

Excellent fourth time for Alex Barros' Team Pramac D'Antin Ducati; the Brazilian precedes Valentino Rossi's Yamaha (2'02"619) and Loris Capirossi's Ducati (2'02"793). The two Italian riders placed behind the Kawasaki of the excellent Randy de Puniet and the two Honda Repsols of Nicky Hayden (2'02"948) and Dani Pedrosa (2'03"098).

Tenth time for new Ducati signing Casey Stoner, the Australian preceded the Hondas of Marco Melandri, Shinya Nakano and Carlos Checa.
