MotoGP | Qatar Test Day 3: The strong wind was the protagonist of the first half of the day, Mir currently the fastest

MotoGP Test Losai Day 3 – The last day of IRTA pre-season testing is currently underway on the Qatar track. The strong wind brought dirt onto the track and compromised the initial phases of the day with several riders waiting a long time in the pits before taking to the track.

At 17pm (Italian time) the best performance was recorded by Joan Mir. The Suzuki rookie stopped the clock at 1:55.321, a time just under a second higher than yesterday's best overall performance. Behind the Spaniard are his teammate, Alex Rins, and Marc Marquez.

Behind the reigning World Champion, with a delay of about 3 tenths from the top, we find Maverick Vinales, who precedes Andrea Dovizioso and his teammate Fabio Quartararo. Francesco Bagnaia also did well and is currently seventh ahead of Danilo Petrucci and Aleix Espargarò. Valentino Rossi completes the top ten.

Outside the ten by just 36 thousandths, Jorge Lorenzo is currently eleventh, while Franco Morbidelli riding the Team Petronas Yamaha is only 14th. Andrea Iannone, one second behind the top, is currently sixteenth.
