Aprilia Gresini MotoGP Test Qatar Day 1 – Thirteenth time for Andrea Iannone on the first day of IRTA MotoGP testing on the Qatari track of Losail. After the physical problems suffered in Malaysia, the Italian is back on his 2019 RS-GP, restarting the work program interrupted on the Sepang track.

The feeling, compared to what we saw two weeks ago, has significantly improved and Andrea himself said he was satisfied with the work done by the team, underlining how the first feedback in Qatar was absolutely positive.

As for the next few days, however, the objective will be to explore the full potential of the bike, making the most of the technical package designed for the first round of this 2019 world championship.

Here are Andrea Iannone's assessments: “I am satisfied with the work done today, on what is my first real day of testing in 2019. We are starting from a good base, the bike performs well and I am convinced that there is still a lot of potential to be explored. Our goal is precisely this, to get to know the RS-GP and continue to improve it ride after ride."

“We've already succeeded with the front, stronger take-off and with better sensations. We also worked to reduce some of the chatter that limited us in some corners by taking a step in the right direction. But above all we are a united group, with common objectives and great harmony, and this is something very important to me", added the Italian.
