MotoGP Test Qatar: Dani Pedrosa “Uninspiring day, I ran out of tyres”

Dani Pedrosa MotoGP 2016 Test Qatar Honda Repsol – Dani Pedrosa he closed the last day of testing at Losail in the rear with the 14th time, 1.3 seconds behind Jorge Lorenzo's best lap. The Honda rider actually did very little today, just 30 laps, ending his day on the track prematurely because he had very few new tires and therefore was unable to finish the scheduled work. At this point the driver from Setubal hopes that with the data collected in these tests the engineers in Japan will be able, as has already happened many times in the past, to pull the proverbial rabbit out of the hat… or rather the piston!

“Today we had few new tires to take to the track – said Dani Pedrosa – and so we couldn't try too much. Unfortunately the end of this test was certainly not exciting. For all three days we tried a lot of things, but there are still some ideas that we will try the next time we are on the track. However, with the data obtained in the latest tests, the engineers in Japan will have plenty to work on to bring some innovations for the first race of the season. Let's see if they can come up with something positive that will allow us to be more competitive for the race."
