On track alone: Stoner, Pirro, Bradl and Kallio

MotoGP | Sepang private tests: Rain ruins Day 1MotoGP | Sepang private tests: Rain ruins Day 1

MotoGP Private Tests Sepang – Private tests by test drivers began today on the Sepang circuit in Malaysia, preceding the official tests which will begin on January 28th.

On track for the first of three days of testing: Casey Stoner (Ducati), Michele Pirro (Ducati), Stefan Bradl (Honda) and Mika Kallio (KTM), together with the MotoGP teams also two teams from the Japanese SBK championship.

The action on the track on the first day lasted very little, in fact the rain that fell both at the start of the tests and in the early Malaysian afternoon prevented the riders from completing more than a couple of laps. At the end of the day Pirro took to the track for a few laps on the wet track. There will be no official timing for the test session, so no rankings will be published.

From the little action on the track, few things were noticeable. Both Bradl and Stoner appear to have come down with the 2017 bike. The former with the classic black test livery, the latter with the color presented at the official launch. However, the Ducati chassis appears to be that of the GP 17.

Sylvain Guintoli (Suzuki) should take to the track tomorrow. The Frenchman should "accompany" on the track: Michael Dunlop, Josh Waters and Toni Elias, rewarded with a test session thanks to the results achieved last season in their respective championships.

Meanwhile in Europe, starting from 12.00, the 1 Yamaha M2018 of Valentino Rossi and Maverick Vinales will be presented in Madrid.

The super immense grandiose phenomenon 27 comes out and on the fourth lap sets the time with a track that is not at all perfect, ahahahahahahahahahah here he is who is the REAL king!
    Casey Stoner Number ONE!

The storm in an atmospheric sense, given the waves of water falling from the sky! Apart from the fact that there are no official timings, if it is true the time reported by his mechanics is equivalent to Iannone's ninth fastest time in practice with the Suzuki last year, TWO SECONDS slower than Pedrosa, Zarco and Dovi, also in practice. The true King fights in the championship arenas and is not paid handsomely to take a stroll every now and then and then go back to take the piss out of him among the kangaroos (without taking anything away from these splendid animals).

a classic that red fans must despise whoever dared to put it behind him, but get over it, stoner is a phenomenon!

Valefumi? Who are you? Do you have a vague idea? Look at the times of the first test session of 2017 if you really want to make comparisons that make no sense, consider that they set the times after having lapped all the riders for 45 minutes, on a dry track. What am I telling you to do?
But what are you talking about? we need a minimum amount of restraint otherwise there's a lot of bullshit going on here.

NB: a site with your nik closed its doors years ago, should we go and keep it company?

      Great Dovizioso
      Great Lorenzo
      Great Stoner
      Great Ducati

The fans of the yellow clown can talk about everyone except Stoner who demonstrated the immense difference between a real phenomenon and a cardboard phenomenon, hahahaha even their owner said it several times that he couldn't even understand how he managed to go so fast and they even talk, what courage ahahahahahah, the stupid Tavulloid fan has no limits.

In fact, mathematics is not an opinion!
      In the same years: 2006/2012
      GP courses: CS 115 / VRM 119
      Wins: CS 38 / VRM 26
      Podiums: CS 69 / VRM 60
      Fastest laps: CS 29 / VRM 22
      Poles: CS 39 / VRM 19
      Leading laps: CS 1069 / VRM 531
      Points: CS 1815 / VRM 1702
And the yellow doll is lucky that Casey spent a year with Cecchinello and the rest in ducats (where the "phenomenon" made the whole world laugh) otherwise the difference would be even bigger and more embarrassing for the poor 45+1, well , I don't understand the delay of some in not understanding and having the courage to speak, ahahahahahah!

well I understand the scoop if he had lapped faster on a dirty track..

but it ran 2 seconds slower..

There is no doubt that he is good but doing 4 laps at the death 2-3 times a year... If he returned to the championship, then his value would be seen.

Casey Stoner, who he was, how much he won.
Some statistical data that can help us clarify the ideas on the talent of this controversial, introverted, but terribly fast driver.
    – Ducati, in MotoGP for 15 seasons, has achieved 36 victories so far.
    – 23 of these victories are by Casey Stoner, achieved in just 4 seasons.
    – In the same period in which Stoner won 23 times, his teammates (Capirossi, Melandri and Hayden, all world champions) took home only one victory in total (Capirossi).
    – In the 800cc MotoGP era (2007-2011) Stoner achieved 33 victories. Valentino Rossi has won 21.
    – Stoner raced in MotoGP from 2006 to 2012, with 38 victories for him. In the same period Valentino Rossi won 26.
    – Also during his period of militancy in MotoGP (2006-2012), Casey Stoner won 2 world titles, 2 titles also for Valentino Rossi, 2 titles for Jorge Lorenzo.
    – Period 2006-2012: 71 podiums for Stoner, 60 for Valentino Rossi, 60 also for Jorge Lorenzo (2008-2012).
    – Period 2006-2012: 39 pole positions for Stoner, 18 for Valentino, 25 for Jorge Lorenzo (2008-2012).
    – Casey Stoner drove for 5 seasons in an official team and one in a private team; Valentino Rossi 6 seasons in the official team, Jorge Lorenzo 5 seasons (2008-2012) in the official team.
From these data it clearly emerges how Stoner had a profound impact on the period of militancy in MotoGP, in a historical moment in which 3 of the 4 strongest and most talented riders of the last twenty years competed.
It would have been exciting to see Stoner also compete with Marquez, but the decision to end his career was irrevocable despite blank contracts, invitations and insistence from both Ducati and Honda.

In my opinion the great bullshit that Valefumi wrote is not so much whether Stoner is a phenomenon or not, I think that on this point not even his opponents can question whether he is, the extreme ignorance on the subject is judged by the fact that he made comparisons on the times of people who ride in qualifying configuration after having lapped on the track for a few sessions compared to someone who gets on a motorbike and does laps for everything except making the time, now it's time to even stoop to explain to someone so limited ?…

Waste of time with yellowish people for anything.

Wow, in the face of so much arrogance and wisdom in calling others stupid, what do you want to be told...

Except that the respect is more than mutual... I see, clown, do you remember this one?!

    Haahahahahahaahah

And go on a motorbike instead of being repressed behind the keyboard!

Casey the fastest with a time of 2'01"4,

A few laps also for the KTM with Kallio, who was the fastest on the track today.
The Finn recorded the best time (unofficially, as the transponders are not mounted on the bikes) in 2'01”1, not far behind him Aoyama, one tenth, and Pirro, 3. Suzuki also did well, with Sylvain Guintoli half a second and approximately the same time as the Yamaha.

    Pirro practically lived Stoner's time.

Michele Pirro, who recently got off the 2018 Desmosedici, jokes about his performance: "since the other day you wrote that Casey was very fast after a few laps, today you have to do the same with me".

Just to make the concept of idolizing clear. ;)

    2. H954RR said:

I know it's difficult for you to understand, but Casey's time was set on a track that wasn't perfect due to the weather conditions and on a non-tyred track.
And hearing a Mr. Zafferano fan preach about the concept of idolizing really makes me laugh.

      1. H954RR said:

Anyway, okay, I know it's a waste of time.

      2. nandop6 said:

Phenomenon!!! Look, it rained for Pirro too but I know that for you when you go off on a tangent it's difficult to stop, I'll try again:
