Michele Pirro covered 93 laps in the three-day Ducati test at Mugello. The tester from San Giovanni Rotondo, unlike Andrea Dovizioso and Nicky Hayden, worked on some aspects of the chassis and engine to carry forward the development of the GP13 "LAB". The test rider of the red has found positive aspects and next Sunday he will be in Barcelona in place of the injured Ben Spies on the bike he raced at Mugello, the "LAB". The word is up to him.

“The tests were ruined a bit by bad weather, as it rained in the afternoon on all three days. Unlike my teammates, to carry out development I had to focus on certain aspects of the chassis and engine. We have certainly found something positive, and we hope that it can be useful in the next races, in which I will race with the bike that I used here during last Sunday's GP. I'm happy with these three days of testing, and now I'm waiting for Barcelona to better understand the value of the progress achieved with our work."
