Intercepted by Sandro Donato Grosso during the morning of testing in Indonesia, Davide Tardozzi rejected the conditions of the Mandalika track, underlining how the mud present along the entire road surface, caused by the earth present in the surroundings of the track, slowed down considerably the work program of all the teams involved in Asia.

An unacceptable condition also in terms of safety, given that in fact, in the early hours of the morning, the track was effectively unusable due to the lack of grip present. Having assessed the situation and in agreement with the Safety Commission, the pilots chose to carry out twenty "extra" laps each, with the aim of clearing the ideal trajectory as much as possible. A stopgap solution which on paper should improve the situation in view of tomorrow and the day after tomorrow.

At the end of the first day, we remember, Pal Espargarò placed himself at the top of the general classification, leaving behind his brother, Aleix's Aprila and Brad Binder's KTM. Back are the official Ducatis of Jack Miller and Francesco Bagnaia, authors of the 6th and 22nd times. See you tonight for the second day of pre-season testing on the Indonesian Mandalika track.
