Marc Marquez now he only knows how to get to first place and therefore today he also finished the Jerez test ahead of everyone, setting the best lap with a 1.38.737. Behind the Spanish phenomenon who is literally dominating MotoGP, stands Yamaha Jorge Lorenzo two tenths behind, while the third fastest time goes to the other Yamaha Valentino Rossi, less than a tenth behind his team-mate.

Fourth half for Dani Pedrosa half a second behind Marquez, while the first of the Open is Aleix Espargarò for a change who however only finished in 8th place, 1 second from the top.

Marquez tested a new rear brake as well as various changes to the electronics, while his teammate Pedrosa tried different setups to improve corner entry.
The Yamaha Factory riders focused on the electronics and balance of the bike; in particular, Jorge Lorenzo also tested a new swingarm and in the last few minutes he improved a lot, stopping just 2 tenths behind Marquez. Rossi also took advantage of the cool afternoon to improve, also finishing close to the top two.

As for the Ducati team, with the official riders Andrea Dovizioso and Cal Crutchlow absent, only test rider Michele Pirro continued the tests. Bradley Smith and Andrea Iannone crashed; during this latest accident the red flag was displayed, but the Abruzzo rider fortunately escaped unscathed, even if the motorbike was destroyed and therefore the Pramac team's test ended there. In fact, the other driver Hernanez didn't ride at all because he was blocked by intestinal disorders.
Big work on the track also for Stefan Bradl who, despite the arm problems that slowed him down in yesterday's race, completed 70 laps today, working on various geometries to improve corner entry.

The GO&FUN Gresini team tested the new front forks and new solutions for the rear with Alvaro Bautista. Together with his teammate Redding he was the driver who lapped the most.

Also worth mentioning is Simone Corsi who got on a MotoGP bike for the first time today, riding Edwards' Yamaha Open of his Forward team. The Italian rider tried MotoGP because according to the rumors he would have had the promise from his team to move from Moto2 to MotoGP next year if he finishes the championship in the top 5.

The not very comforting thing is that Lorenzo and Rossi looked for the time in the very last laps, Marquez did it at laps 28/55, I have the clear impression that he could have dropped, however those are pace times I believe and not pole times, which they were a lot lower, but still very respectable times also considering that the track is even more rubberized after the race.
