MotoGP | IRTA Thailand Test Day 3: Dovizioso, “I'm going home very happy”

MotoGP Ducati Team Test Thailand Buriram – Andrea Dovizioso said he was very satisfied with the three-day IRTA MotoGP test at the Chang International Circuit Buriram, in Thailand.

The Ducati rider, who finished seventh overall, paid little attention to the stopwatch, working hard on the new material brought by Ducati, fairings, frame and other details. Unlike his team-mate Jorge Lorenzo, who sunk into the abyss, he is very confident in terms of Qatar, he has the say.

“They were three very useful days, in which we managed to do a lot of work and test out the fairings, the frame and the other new material that Ducati brought here to Thailand. It wasn't an easy task because it was really hot anyway and this track is a bit particular, but we collected a lot of useful information and confirmed that the GP18 is a very competitive bike – said Andrea Dovizioso – To better judge the performances of our rivals we will have to also see what type of tire they achieved their times with, but in my opinion here in Buriram we are in good shape, like in Malaysia. I'm returning home very happy and ready to leave again in two weeks for Qatar, where we want to prepare well for the first race of the 2018 championship.”
