MotoGP Repsol Honda Test Thailand – Marc Marquez celebrates his 25th birthday in style by ending the second day of testing on the Buriram circuit in the lead.

The reigning world champion worked all day on the set-up and on a new aerodynamic fairing. In the final he seems to have managed to find the right set up, recording a time of 1:29.969, the only driver so far to have gone under one minute and thirty.

These are the words of Marc Marquez: “First of all, I would like to say thank you to all my fans for the many happy messages! The best way to celebrate is on my motorbike, I really like riding it! Today was a good day. We started by playing with the setup at the beginning of the session. Then we tried some Michelin rear tyres, which weren't bad, and we also worked on the aerodynamics. At the end of the day, we put together our best package and went faster. We'll see how it goes tomorrow, it seems like the track is improving every day, as are the other riders. Having said that, we are doing a great job in our garage and we will try to continue on this path."

The reigning world champion's team decided to "gift" him a video of greetings:
