MotoGP | IRTA Sepang Day 1 test: Pedrosa, “The feeling is very positive”

MotoGP Test IRTA Sepang Day 1 Honda Repsol – Excellent start for Dani Pedrosa who ended the first day of pre-season testing on the Sepang circuit in command.

The Honda rider, who stopped the clock at 1:59.427, did a few laps in the wet and then concentrated on the 213 RC2018V in the early Malaysian afternoon. In particular, in the Honda garage there were a 2017 and two 2018 motorbikes with different specifications.

These are the words of Dani Pedrosa: “I think today was a challenging day for everyone, because when you get back on your bike after the winter, you need to find your rhythm and get used to riding on a particularly challenging track. Having said that, I'm quite happy with how we started, because we were working on three different bikes with different engines, one from last year and two with different specifications, and so it was quite an intense day. We had to work a lot, on many things, which is quite normal, but so far it seems that the new engine is better. Of course we have two more days to improve the setup and continue working on the engine, electronics, aerodynamics, and so on. It was only the first day and the feeling and rhythm were already positive!”.
