MotoGP: Irta Jerez Test Day 2, Valentino Rossi “Sorry to have lost practically a day”
The 9-time world champion did not use slicks
di Alessio BrunoriMarch 24, 2012
Valentino Rossi was among the riders who did not carry out the last two "runs" on dry tires today in Jerez de la Frontera and consequently did not improve on the previous time achieved in the early afternoon in the rain. The rider from Pesaro is sorry for having "wasted" a day of testing, he has the say.
“I'm sorry to have lost practically an entire day of testing even though we still did three outings with wet tires and settings to confirm the sensations obtained in similar conditions in the previous test. For the rest there is little to say, today we were unable to work but for tomorrow the forecast is better so we hope to be able to continue testing the set-up we identified yesterday at the end of the session."

So where are the VS-Rossi scientists? Did NOT use slicks yesterday, you bunch of thrushes. Not that much would have changed, with that little motorbike which, I remind you, Valentino didn't design, he just drives it.
How do you just drive it?? Guys, order your ideas because until yesterday he was the one who decided on the development and made the tractors fly, Lorenzo was fast because he used the motorbike he developed, an infallible test driver, etc., etc.
Now he's just a handlebar craftsman?
Come on, let's not exaggerate, merits and demerits must be divided equally.
The Ducati is certainly not a missile, but the fact that Rossi floats around Hayden also says a lot about his current competitiveness.
