MotoGP – Brno Test – Valentino Rossi tests the new chassis
Valentino Rossi returned to the track today for the post-Brno GP tests. The rider from Pesaro who with yesterday's victory put a serious claim on the 2009 title tested the new chassis, finding positive and negative points. Now he will rest in view of the next GP which will take place at the end of August on the Indianapolis circuit. The word is up to him.
“It's always difficult to go back to work after a great victory like yesterday's, but it was an important opportunity to try some things for the future. Before lunch we tested the new chassis, which has some positives and some negatives, and we were able to collect some data. Unfortunately it rained during the lunch break so we couldn't ride as well in the afternoon due to the wet conditions, but it was dry enough for us to do a bit more work towards the end of the shift. We focused on the new chassis and the 2010 engine specification and I was quite fast. Now we have a short break and then we will go to Indianapolis!”
