MotoGP Test Brno – After the Czech Republic Grand Prix, the official MotoGP tests took place on the Brno track. This morning the best time was set by the winner of Sunday's GP, Andrea Dovizioso, but in the afternoon the ranking was 'upended' by the Hondas. (Here is the morning report)

At the end of the day it was Marc Marquez who recorded the best time, 1:55.209. The world championship leader tested a lot of material during the day. Initially he took to the track with the motorbike with which he contested the GP weekend, in the early afternoon a different seat support frame appeared on his motorbike while at the end of the session he used an entirely black motorbike, already seen in the previous tests and up until that moment used by Honda tester Hiroshi Aoyama. It is not yet entirely clear whether it is a prototype for next year or an evolution of this season's bike.

Behind the Spaniard, Johann Zarco who managed to overtake Dani Pedrosa at the end of the session.

Behind the Honda with number 26, Andrea Dovizioso, who however was unable to improve on this morning's time. As well as his teammate, Jorge Lorenzo, who finished behind him. In the afternoon, the Spaniard took to the track with the new 'winged' fairing used by the Forlì rider during the weekend.

Sixth time for Cal Crutchlow, followed by Valentino Rossi. The Pesaro native carried out comparative work throughout the day between different electronic set-ups, but was unable to improve on the time recorded this morning. At the end of the day the #46 also took to the track with a new version of the fairing, with wings that seem to be more 'important' than the previous version.

Danilo Petrucci finished with the eighth fastest time ahead of Alex Rins and Hafizh Syahrin, who completes the top ten.

Of note is Andrea Iannone's fall, fortunately without consequences, which prevented him from continuing with the day of testing. Same fate also for Aleix Espargarò, busy at that moment testing the new carbon fork. Also in this case, fortunately it fell without consequences.

This is the time ranking at the end of the day of testing in Brno:
