MotoGP – Brno Test – Elias tests the new Showa

While the Öhlins suspensions were being tested in the HRC garage, yesterday in Brno there were also those who were testing the new Showa ones. In fact, after the podium achieved on Sunday, Toni Elias tested the new suspensions on the Team Gresini Honda RC212V. The Spaniard, who is currently without a bike for 2010, started the tests early, looking for further and important indications for the next races where he wants to continue to collect important results. “I am pleased by the affection that so many people showed me after Sunday's race. A result that made me happy and at the same time makes me very angry because despite achieving important results every year, at the moment I don't see any solutions in front of me for next year. But I want to be confident and for this reason my commitment will be at maximum until the end because I want to demonstrate to everyone my true value in the next six races. This morning we tried a new position of the footrests with which I felt comfortable. Then, the rain slowed down our work but when the track dried we were able to try the new modified forks that Showa brought us. Unfortunately, the laps we have done are too few to give a concrete evaluation and perhaps we will need to test them again in free practice in Indianapolis."
