MotoGP | Barcelona test: Marc Marquez, “I'm destroyed”

MotoGP GP Catalunya Barcelona Repsol Honda Team – Marc Marquez ended the day of testing on the Montmelò track with the eleventh fastest time.

The Honda rider, who crashed in the race on Sunday, was a true workaholic, completing 87 laps over the course of the day.

“I'm devastated and I've had real problems. But I need days like these where you can just ride so I can work on myself. It was about doing a lot of laps and trying some things with the bike. The day was very important for the future. The morning wasn't bad, but in the afternoon I couldn't get anything out because I couldn't. However, nothing went wrong and everything worked quite well. It's time to take a little break. We will try to take a step forward physically. We noticed small differences and now we need to see how they will behave on different circuits. We would like to have slightly modified homologated wings that can help us on faster courses. The engine we used is exactly the same as the one we are currently using. Even though the test bike was painted black, there were only small things that differed from the current bike. We made important changes to each run, not just set-up changes."
